75 Years of Safe Passage

Maurice Broun wrote of the Northern Goshawk, “It is always a

pulse-quickening event when one of these fierce corsairs of the skyways

sweeps boldly into view at the Lookout.” Local artist and long time

Mountain friend Fred Wetzel captured this feeling in watercolor, and a limited

edition print of this special piece now commemorates the 75th anniversary

of Hawk Mountain.
