Giving to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
Help support the place where eagles, hawks and falcons fly! Hawk Mountain offers many ways for you to make a meaningful gift to Hawk Mountain, and our staff is happy to help you find the right giving vehicle that matches your philanthropic goals. Membership is a great way for you to enjoy the Sanctuary year-round, while helping build our largest and most dependable income stream, while outright gifts of cash provide support for the Sanctuary's general operations. Gifts, too, may be made to support education programs, the internship program or a specific raptor conservation research project. We're happy to discuss these options, and have listed the most common ways to give to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary:

Combined Federal Campaign
Are a federal employee? If so, you'll be pleased to know Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association  is a member of the Independent Charities of America, and a proud participant in the Combined Federal Campaign. Hawk Mountain's CFC Number is 12054, or, ask your employer for more information on how to contribute.

Hawk Mountain has received the Independent Charities Seal of Excellence, awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have demonstrated to meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.

 Hawk Mountain Privacy Policy

Our most important asset is our donors’ trust.  Keeping donor information secure, and using it only as our donors and members would want us to, is a priority for us at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.

  • We will safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality, any information our members and donors share with us.
  • We will permit only a limited number of authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of donor information, to have access to that information.  Employees who violate our Privacy Policy will be subject to our normal disciplinary process.
  • We will not sell or rent our donor and member names for commercial purposes.
  • We will, however, from time to time, on a reciprocal basis, facilitate membership and relevant program offers from other non-profit organizations with solid credentials, who in turn facilitate membership offers from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
  • We will tell members at least once annually, how they may remove their names from such offers and strictly honor their requests.
  • These non-profit organizations are not permitted to retain any donor information unless the individual has specifically expressed an interest in supporting their services.
