Hawk Mountain Holiday Open House
Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29
Both days, 10 am - 4 pm
Holiday Open House activities are FREE of charge, but we appreciate any modest donation to help cover costs.
BOTH DAYS:
Complimentary cider and $1 soft pretzels
Free trail admission for children ages 12 and under
Free American Kestrel storybook for children (1 per child)
Wildlife art display by Dave Hughes
Friday, November 28
10 am : Make a Paper Snowflake (ages 7 and up)
Coloring and puzzles for younger children
Holiday music, compliments of cellist, Kathy Miller
11 am: Owls of the Winter Woods (live owl program)
Noon: Winter Garden Walk
1-2: Children's Stories by the Fireplace
2-4 pm: Make-and-Take an All-Natural Holiday Arrangement (bring SMALL basket; ages 12 and up)
Holiday music, compliments of cellist Kathy Miller and keyboardist Solomon Keal
Saturday, November 29
10 am : Make a Paper Snowflake (ages 7 and up)
10 am: Coloring and puzzles for younger children
11 am: Owls of the Winter Woods (live owl program)
Noon: Winter Garden Walk
1-2 pm: Children's Stories by the Fireplace
3 pm: 2008 Optics Raffle Drawing!
2-4 pm: Make a Natural Ornament (children)
