FREE Self-guided driving tour, held every year on the first Saturday in June.
Pick your own route, set your own pace, and enjoy a wide variety of art by talented artists displaying their work in their home studios or host locations. The self-guided driving tour winds about a 25-mile radius all within scenic Albany Township, this year with a satellite location hosted by the Hamburg Area Arts Alliance at Etchberger Memorial Park in Hamburg.

Hope Hill Lavender Farm established 2011 offers shopping for quality lavender products created on our farm located 15 miles from Hawk Mt. We have lavender soaps, lotions, candles, sachets, and culinary items.
Owner Wendy Jochems will live demonstrate sachet and alpaca dryer ball creation.

Local author Cindy Ross will be displaying her oil paintings of scenes from Hawk Mountain. Joining her will be her husband Todd Gladfelter, displaying blacksmithing and wood carvings, and their son Bryce, displaying hand-painted clothes and wood carvings as well.

Elaine creates nature-themed art in pastels and acrylics, featuring butterflies, flowers, and other wildlife. She also repurposes and paints lighted bottles to benefit Hawk Mountain's Farmland Raptor Project.

Willi utilizes locally sourced clays and natural ash glazes to create unique and beautiful wood-fired ceramics.

Specialty wood products, cutting boards, signs, wood bowls, and a sneak peak of gift items for Christmas 2022.
They will be live demonstrating the operation of the laser cutter/engraver.

Jennifer is a gourd and pine needle artist, creating hand-cut gourd bowls with pine needle rims, pine needle baskets, and ornaments with gourds and pine needles. All of her products are handcrafted, utilizing earthly colors and designs.
Jennifer will be demonstrating live the art of pine needle coiling.

Joseph Walker is a self-taught wildlife wood carver based in York, PA. Joe started wood working as a hobby, drawn to the challenge of the craft, and it has since evolved into a career in the realm of fine art.

David Hughes currently resides in the countryside shadow of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary where he spends many hours on the lookout as a volunteer hawk counter. Reunited with the place that captured his heart as a boy, the magic of the mountain continues to nourish his spirit, creativity and passion for art and life. He brings his inspirations from sketchpad to canvas with passion and energy for the sheer love of nature and the satisfaction of sharing his talents with others. David works with pencil sketches, acrylic paints, watercolor, oils, and more recently – coffee!
Jeff Keiffer

Jeff has been carving wooden decoys for almost 30 years, and most of his decoys are considered “Contemporary Antique.” Using the same tools as the great carvers of the past, he tries to make each decoy look like it was used 100 years ago. He has competed in the “antique style” category at major decoy contests, and his greatest carving accomplishment was placing second best of show at the Ward Foundation World Championship competition. He has received over ten Best of Show ribbons from competitions along the east coast.

Jonathan Bond
Stop 10 - 59 Kempton Rd.
2024 marks the 50th year of Jon’s profession as a painter and graphic artist. Jon estimates that he has created more than 2,500 original paintings and designed 30,000 graphics for private and corporate businesses, as well as government and religious institutions. Jon has been instrumental in documenting the landscape of Berks County through his art. He has published three books and mounted fifteen solo exhibitions featuring works created in egg tempera, oil, watercolor, and pencil and ink. He founded the Albany Township Historical Society in 1997 as a vehicle to preserve the rich cultural heritage of northern Berks County.
Jon hikes the gentle declivities surrounding his art gallery in Kempton. He is often alone but never lonesome as he draws inspiration from the rustic unspoiled scenery, the awesome sunsets and atmospherics of the Kittatinny Ridge, and the iconic farmsteads of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

Gene is a painter of fine art landscapes, mostly of the local area around his barn studio. Capturing the disappearing farmland and wooded landscape is his primary focus, as well as the old buildings on this land.

Oil paintings and prints - framed and unframed. Puzzles from artwork, painted wild turkey tail feathers, paintings on wood for hanging, Dan's hand made live Ash benches with images. His theme throughout is wildlife. Dan will display in his gallery and studio, which is added to our home outside of Kempton in a rural setting.

After visiting Hamburg Area Arts Alliance members at the Park, be sure to travel a few short blocks to the Art & Craft Gallery of Hamburg located at 320 State Street in downtown Hamburg. There you will find handmade creations and artwork from over 30 local artists – all for sale at affordable prices. The Gallery is open 10 am - 5 pm the day of the event.
