Off-site Education Programs

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary offers education programs for diverse audiences. Programs will be designed to include all audiences to the best of our abilities. Schools, camps, organizations, etc, may request an Off-site Program, where our educators bring the interactive, educational program straight to you. 

Off-site Program without Live Bird

Time: 45 min
Cost: $200 + travel charge

(Travel charge is $0.83 per mile after 30 miles to and from Hawk Mountain round-trip)

Your group will receive an overview of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary by an Educator or trained volunteer. Discussion will include the Sanctuary's conservation history, raptor identification, and migration information. 

 

Off-site Program WITH Live Bird

Time: 1 hour
Cost: $250 + travel charge

(Travel charge is $0.83 per mile after 30 miles to and from Hawk Mountain round-trip)

In addition to learning about natural history, raptor identification, migration information and Sanctuary guidelines, your groups will spend time getting an up-close and personal look at one of our educational raptors.

 

NEW! Off-Site Birds of Prey Presentation

Time: 1 hour

Cost: $300 + travel charge

(Travel charge is $0.83 per mile after 30 miles to and from Hawk Mountain round-trip)

Discover the fascinating world of birds of prey with Hawk Mountain! Meet three different live raptors and learn all about each species, their unique adaptations, and what sets them apart from each other.

 

Off-Site Table Event without Live Bird

Cost: $175 for the first hour, $125 for each additional hour + travel charge

(Travel charge is $0.83 per mile after 30 miles to and from Hawk Mountain round-trip)

A Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Educator or trained volunteer will be set up at a table for guests to interact with. Discussion will include the Sanctuary's conservation history, raptor identification, and migration information. 

 

Off-Site Table Event WITH Live Bird

Cost: $250 for the first hour, $125 for each additional hour + travel charge

(Travel charge is $0.83 per mile after 30 miles to and from Hawk Mountain round-trip)

In addition to learning about natural history, raptor identification, migration information and Sanctuary guidelines, A Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Educator or trained volunteer will set up a table at your event and give guests the opportunity to get an up-close and personal look at one of our educational raptors.

We also offer Distance Education Programs for schools or organizations that are too far away or cannot travel to the Mountain.
