Homeschooled students are invited to join us on the Mountain monthly for experiential learning! Topics will focus on the Appalachian forest ecosystem. Programs are designed for K-12 students and are filled with hands-on learning activities both inside and outdoors.
Have you ever wondered why animals are built the way they are? From webbed feet and silent flight to three eyelids and razor-sharp beaks, get an up-close look at the amazingly diverse body parts of the animal kingdom. We will also create our own animals with some unique adaptations.
