Heartleaf Foamflower
Posted on in Recent Sightings by Hawk Mountain
At the entrance to the Native Plant Garden, tall spikes of starry white flowers rise like fireworks above the heart-shaped leaves of the Heartleaf Foamflowers (Tiarella cordifolia). These attractive wildflowers are native to the eastern U.S. and form colonies that spread along the ground in shady wooded areas.
