Mustard Yellow Polypore Fungi Occupying the Side of a Dead Tree

If you plan on walking up to South Lookout anytime soon, you might just come across a Mustard-yellow Polypore (Phellinus gilvus) attached to a dead tree. This widespread mushroom is commonly found in hardwood forests around North America.
