3rd PA Bird Atlas Has Fledged!

The five-year-long PA Bird Atlas project is well underway, with some early nesting species surveyed and tools at the ready for those who want to jump in and participate. Anyone can do it, anytime! With just one over a month into the third Atlas, 582 birders have submitted nearly 14,000 checklists representing 177 species across the state. Of those, about a dozen have been confirmed as nesting species.
